My new favorite spot...and it's in my neighborhood!
I moved to Hamilton in January, and have been having so much fun exploring the area. Harford Road is super close to my house, and is home to so many local business and restaurants. On Sunday a few months ago, my partner and I walked over to the Silver Queen Café hoping to get a table for brunch. When we arrived, there was a super long line, so we decided not to wait. But, we knew that all those people were there for a reason. We went back a few weeks later and were pleasantly surprised.
The interior of the restaurant has quirky decor and lots of plants, which is just my style. There is also outdoor seating. We were there for brunch, which has a delicious menu. I’ve tried the grits and greens (both were incredible), and the last time I was there I had the blueberry pancakes, which were to die for. Another perk of this local Baltimore restaurant is that they have delicious cocktails. I have tried the Paloma with Mezcal as well as their Negroni, and both are worth ordering.
The restaurant is also open for lunch and dinner, and often has a seasonal menu with fresh local produced infused into their recipes. As you can likely tell, I am a huge fan of the Silver Queen Café. If you’re looking for a fabulous brunch or dinner spot in Baltimore, check it out!
